Posted by neocaablogger on October 5, 2010

Use EPA’s October calendar (PDF) for daily tips to keep your kids safe. Here are a few examples:
Test your home for radon and make fixes if it tests at 4 pCi/L or more. For help, call 1-800-SOS-RADON.
Prevent poisoning by storing away your household chemicals.
Eliminate asthma triggers, such as mold, dust mites, and smoke.
• Try to reduce your child’s exposure to ticks, which can spread Lyme Disease.
